New to the U.S, I was keen to test the waters. How did my skills stack up in this market? How would my style of writing and presenting be perceived here? Don gave me a considered, unbiased evaluation. It was evident he had watched my tape through several times with a careful eye, also reviewing my resume and a sample cover letter - literally "the whole package" I send to potential employers. I felt much more confident and better prepared to navigate the market. I made the most of drawing on his three decades of experience - and I was given ample time to do so. If you have questions about my experience, I'd be glad to tell you why I'm recommending Don. E-mail me at tapereview@hotmail.com through Dec 31 2002.

Even the most confident of broadcasters have doubts about their performance, especially when faced with the prospect of advancing to the next level. For me, it was a question of whether I was aiming too high, too fast. I sent Don my tape for an honest, expert opinion of my work from someone who knows the business, but who doesn't know me. I came away from my time with Don with even more confidence in myself and my work.
- Mike S., Network Features Reporter, New York City

I've been through many tape critiques and coaching seminars all of which have been helpful, but the career coaching session with Don Fitzpatrick guided me in the right direction. Don very patiently answered all my questions and cleared my doubts. He not only critiqued my audition tape, but also gave me ideas on who to contact and what my next move should be."
