Cablevision`s News 12 Networks is the country`s first, largest, and most watched regional news network delivering local news 24-hours a day to approximately 3.8 million cable homes in the New York tri-state area.
Each of our seven News 12 regional channels serving Long Island, New Jersey, Brooklyn, The Bronx, Westchester, the Hudson Valley, and Connecticut, plus our five News 12 Traffic and Weather channels, produce weather programming.
We are currently looking for Temp Meteorologists for each of the channels.
Candidates should have a strong working knowledge of all WSI computer applications, at least one year of on-camera weathercasting experience, strong on-air voice, very good communications skills, strong forecasting skills, and be willing to work flexible hours. Prefer candidates who live in the New York Metropolitan area. One year of on-camera experience is required, however recent college graduates who show potential will be considered.
